
 | IMPRESSIONS OF SUNGEI BULOH NATURE RESERVE Northbrookes Secondary School, (5 classroom blocks 45m x 3.2m) Done by Technical Academic Year 1 students, 2005 Students learn how to make observatory drawings of flora and fauna during a field trip to Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve. They noted the animals’ anatomical characteristics and their natural behavior. In the classroom, they put their ceramic skills to use and created life-like birds and other mud-habitat animals. |
 | OUR VERY OWN BALINESE MEETING AREA Bedok South Secondary School, (14m x 3.2m) Done by teachers, 2005 This project is a teambuilding project for the teachers of a secondary schoool. This mural compliment a balinese concept area with zen furnitrue and bamboo wall-claddings. Teachers learnt how to load and paint specific portions of the mural wall. The efffort of 20 teachers reasulted in a grand mural for all to enjoy. Project completed in a week, 5 mornings. |
 | FANTASY REALITY Rulang Primary School, (under stairs area 7 x 2.2m) Done by Technical Academic Year 1 students, 2005 Art club students, mostly P5s recieved hands-on training from a muralist on how to plan and sketch and they participated in the various painting stages of the mural. Students learn about Echer’s fantasy works and painted a ‘under the stairs’ surrealistic work in one week. Project completed in a week, 5 mornings. |
