IMPRESSIONS OF SUNGEI BULOH NATURE RESERVE Northbrookes Secondary School, (5 classroom blocks 45m x 3.2m) Done by Technical Academic Year 1 students, 2005
Students learn how to make observatory drawings of flora and fauna during a field trip to Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve. They noted the animals’ anatomical characteristics and their natural behavior. In the classroom, they put their ceramic skills to use and created life-like birds and other mud-habitat animals.
Great Heron. 75cm. Note the body shape, and defined feathers on the body and semitransparent glaze on the body.
